Inclusive Mobility VET (IMVET)

The project objective is to contribute to more inclusive mobilities for VET students with disabilities. Partners will gain insight into the needs and barriers they face before, during and after their mobility and raise awareness on the opportunities for improvement. Project will increase the knowledge and skills of VET professionals for supporting these students. Lastly, the aim is to provide accessible information and share experiences of other students to lower the barriers for students to start a mobility experience.

Activities:
1) Researching the needs and barriers of students by conducting interviews and a desk analysis.
2) Creating a toolkit for professionals with a self assessment and guidelines.
3) Two Learning Teaching Training Activities with students and professionals will be dedicated to create and test the toolkit.
4) Creating accessible information on mobilities for students with disabilities.

Expected results:
* to increase awareness of professionals of VET schools and of regional, national and European stakeholders on the importance of inclusive mobility programmes in VET schools and needs of students with disabilities in these programmes,
* to improve VET professionals understanding of opportunities for improving their mobility programmes and more knowledge on how to do so.
* to eliminate barriers of mobilities by new communication and information materials for students.
